A story about paintings & liquid art.
In November 2022, Anne Linden and Maria Gorbatschova created ART & COCKTAILS - a bar menu where every cocktail was the liquid translation of a painting. The focus was not on one aspect of the painting, such as color or subject. Rather were the cocktails an interpretation of the experience of the art. The cocktails were a celebration of classical and modern paintings.
The ART & COCKTAILS bar menu was served for two week in the Green Door Bar Berlin. During this time, the work of three contemporary artists was exhibited in the rooms of the Green Door Bar.
The project was supported by Schweppes Germany, Hendrick’s Gin, Monkey Shoulder Whisky, Glenfiddich Whisky and Discarded Spirits.
