Another story about paintings & liquid art.
In November 2022, Anne Linden and Maria Gorbatschova created ART & COCKTAILS - a bar menu concept where each cocktail is the liquid translation of a painting. In May 2023, the two brought the concept to Vienna. In collaboration with Miranda Bar, they created and implemented a new ART & COCKTAILS bar menu.
This ART & COCKTAILS bar menu was served for two weeks at Miranda Bar in Vienna. Also during this time, as in Berlin, the works of contemporary local artists were exhibited in the bar space.
In addition, Anne and Maria held a workshop on the concept for interested members of the Vienna bar community.
The ART & COCKTAILS recipes are a liquid interpretation of the impression of a painting, a homage to classic and modern paintings and a celebration of cocktail culture.
The project was supported by Schweppes Austria/Germany, Hendrick's Gin, Monkey Shoulder Whisky, and Glenfiddich Whisky.
